I've always been fascinated by doors. I believe doors are special. They signify a lot of different things for me. They can represent opportunity. Hope. Heartbreak. A welcoming. A goodbye. A dream. Doors can symbolize a beginning, a middle or an end.
Someone once asked me why I like to photograph doors because they all
look the same. I hope this project shows you that not all doors are the
same. Some are beautiful. Some are ugly. They can be plain or brightly
painted, have locks, knockers, peep holes. They can serve all kinds of purposes. They can signify different things for each person who takes a minute to think about it. All different. All unique.
Just like us.
